K-8 Enrichment Summer School Program Update
Exciting News! We have received funding information from the state and are excited to announce that the Tigard-Tualatin School District will be hosting a K-8 Enrichment Summer School Program.
Planning: Just underway and hope to have a session format and registration ready to share before the last day of school.
Save the Date: K-8 Enrichment Summer School Sessions will take place starting on July 11th and run through August 5th. (sessions and format still being developed)
Registration: Registration will be open to incoming Kindergarteners through current 8th grade students who are transitioning to 9th grade.
Look For: We are working on providing more information coming soon specific to…
• Number of sessions per week (4 weeks)
• Length of sessions
• Class offerings at each grade level range
• Transportation sign up
• Food information and sign up

Reminder: Session offerings and number of sessions is dependent on the number of staff who sign up to teach. We are beginning our recruitment processes which will inform our continued planning.
TTSD Strategic Planning and Community Budget Meeting
TTSD strategic planning is underway. This is an opportunity for our community to share their thoughts on what priorities the district should focus on as we move into the future. Please watch for a community survey in the next newsletter. Please also join us on May 10th at 5:30 PM for a community-wide listening session with TTSD Superintendent Dr. Sue and School Board members. Location TBD. More details to follow.
We are also starting our community budget process next week. If you are interested in contributing to that work, please contact Traci Rose at trose1@ttsd.k12.or.us.

TTVA is an online school serving students in grades 6-12. We strive to meet students where they are at with flexible, connected learning. If you have students currently in grades 5-11 and are interested in learning more please attend in-person or online.

Although volunteers are just now getting back into buildings and participating in activities, many of our Parent Support Groups and Boosters have continued to fundraise and find unique ways to support and show appreciation of school staff.
Community members and staff have also donated their time to the Packed with Pride program, continuing to provide weekly food boxes for TTSD families. We thank you for your commitment and dedication to TTSD.

Oregon Drug Take-Back Program
- Offers Oregon residents a convenient, safe, and secure way to dispose of unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medicines.
- Both programs will offer two ways to safely dispose of unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medicines. There is no charge for either service.
- Take your unwanted household drugs to a drop-off site: You can take your unwanted medicines to a participating drop-off site and dispose of them in the on-site secure repository. You don't need to talk to anyone, show ID, or fill out any paperwork in order to use the drop-off site.
- Mail-back: You can mail in your unused medication for disposal through a pre-paid, pre-addressed envelope.
- You can locate a participating drop-off site or find out how to obtain a pre-paid, pre-addressed envelope by visiting medtakebackoregon.org or calling 1 (844) 482-5322 or 1 (844) 4-TAKE-BACK.
