How We Used Our Money
Rental Car- $174.05
Hotel-$807
Food- $180
Gas- $80
The remainder of our budget ($2,428.95) will go towards advertising, mainly billboards. Advertisements will consist of statistics that prove crime rates will go down and prisons/jails will become less crowded. Although we probably don't have money for many, five, tops. We will put them in high traffic areas, where many people will see them each day.
Obstacles
Since we don't have much to spend money on other than the necessities, the budget cut didn't affect us. Just left us with less money towards our billboards.
2. Departure
We rented a car for our travels, so if that car delivery were to have been late we will demand compensation from the car company when they arrive. Aside from that, we'd just have to wait for them.
3. What will you do when you don't have a reservation?
We're going to use this lack of reservation towards a meeting with our guru, and if plans got messed up we would have to extend our stay one day so that we could get a proper reservation with Roger Goodman.
What We Learned
Here's a little synopsis of cannabis laws in DC.
Adults may possess up to two ounces of marijuana and grow no more than six plants in their home without penalty. You can gift up to ounce of marijuana to another person of legal age (21 yrs old) with no penalty. Unless marijuana was granted through doctor's recommendation, intentional possession of more than two ounces is a misdemeanor with a penalty of jail time (up to 180 days) and a fine up to $1,000.
