Dear Parents/Caregivers

The latest weather forecasts and warnings are predicting that we are likely to get heavy rain and strong winds through tonight and tomorrow morning. The rain is forecast to ease tomorrow morning but the severe wind warning is still in place until Tuesday evening.

In the light of this, Farm Cove Intermediate will remain closed on Tuesday, 14 February.

We will update the community again on Tuesday afternoon, and are hopeful that school will reopen on Wednesday.

This afternoon you will receive an email from your child’s Whānau leader with some learning tasks. These tasks are optional as we know that keeping family safe right now is everyone’s priority.

If you or your whānau are adversely affected by the cyclone over the coming days, please feel free to reach out to us so that we can offer support.
