NC Weekly Announcements

12/14/15 - Winter is in the Air!

Holiday Sing-Along/Concert - Tomorrow!

Tomorrow is our 3rd Annual Holiday Sing-Along for our first through fourth grade families. Join us in the Quad tomorrow morning at 8:15 (for 1st and 2nd graders) and 9:10 (for 3rd and 4th graders). Students are asked to wear RED TOPS, DARK BOTTOMS, & FESTIVE SCARVES (scarves are optional but they would be cute!). Seating will be limited in the Quad, so feel free to bring your own chairs and blankets to get comfortable.

[In the case of inclement weather (which we are not expecting), each grade level will perform in the TLC. 1st grade - 8:15; 2nd grade - 8:45; 3rd grade - 9:10; 4th grade - 9:35.]

Other Holiday Performances

Kindergarteners will be doing their Holiday Performance this Friday, 12/18, at 10:30 in the TLC. This is the corrected date from the annual calendar you may have.

*5th and 6th graders will be doing separate performances/shows in January 2016 through the Visual & Performing Arts (VAPA) programs.

Student Council Service Project

Our Student Council is coordinating an effort to provide donations of canned food to the Second Harvest Food Bank. Please consider donating--students can drop food off in one of the collection boxes located in the office or the TLC. Donations will be accepted through Friday, 12/18.

Lost & Found

We are getting an unruly collection of sweatshirts, lunch boxes, and other apparel in our lost and found! Please be sure to have your child check for lost items before we leave for our Winter Break. All items in the Lost & Found will be donated to needy families on 12/21. Thanks!

Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP) Feedback Needed! (Only 31 Responses Received)

Part of the District's LCAP is to take into consideration parent/community and other stakeholder input (including students and teachers!) when determining how to best use funds for schools and the district as a whole. Your input is requested! Please take just a few minutes to answer several questions about the quality of your child's education. Note that the rating scale shows "Strongly Disagree" on the left and "Strongly Agree" on the right. Follow this link to provide your input:
