One-Act Play District Champion 4-Peat!!!!

Mrs. Weaver and the VAMS Theatre Arts students won the District UIL One Act Play competition for the 4th year in a row ! The competition was tough. With a 3 judge panel, and 8 schools participating, the win was especially exciting! Also, EVERY single cast member was selected for an individual award for their strong performances. Jacob Gallardo, Sara Fernandez, and Landon Witchers received Honorable Mention All-Star Cast medals for their outstanding supporting actor performances. Peyton Hill and Tatum Wylie received All Star Cast medals for their turn as lead actresses. And the overall Best Actor Award out of all 8 schools, was our very own, Zach Smith!

VAMS staff members participated in a gift exchange in which they bought gifts other staff members would have played with when they were a child. The best part is that all the toys will be donated to Toys for Tots.

College Day

We are excited that our students are learning about college opportunities and are thinking about what interests they have that they can pursue beyond high school. This past College Day we shared the video below with our students. It is filled with "Did you know?" facts. The students found some of the facts interesting and we hope you do too!
