Osama bin Laden was born March 10, 1957 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. He died May 2, 2011 in Abbottabad, Pakistan and the day he died he was disposed of in the Arabian Sea.

Osama bin Laden had five wives and 20-26 children. One of his wives was Khadijah Sharif and they were married in 1983 and divorced in 1990. Another one of his wives was Khairiah Sabar they were married in 1985. His third wife was Siham Sabar and they were married in 1987. His fourth wife was Amal al-Sadah and she married Bin Laden in 2000. His fifth wife was Najwa Ghanem, they were married in 1974 and they separated before Sept. 11th, 2001. Some sources also say that he had a sixth wife but her name is unknown and their marriage has no legal existence.


Many of bin Laden's children had reportedly fled to Iran after September 11th, but Iran authorities still follow their movements closely.

Osama bin Laden made a huge impact on the U.S society. The attack that he organized on the Worlds Trade Center and the Pentagon killed lots of innocent people that were just attending their normal lives. Even the Taliban was shocked at the 9/11 attack. Also, almost the entire Muslim community had sympathy for the U.S. Osama bin Laden was a very powerful and wealthy man, but unfortunately his power was used in a brutal way and as a result he was killed for his actions.

3 things Osama bin Laden has done in his life.

1. He joined the Holy War in 1979 to fight against the Soviet Union. He was apart of the Holy War for a decade.


2. In 1998 he bombed the U.S Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania.


3. In 2001 he attacked and destroyed the Worlds Trade Center and the Pentagon.


Because of the attacks that bin Laden has organized he was on the FBI's most wanted list for more than a decade.

  • Osama bin laden was the 17th born out of 52 kids in Muhammad bin Laden's family.
  • All of Osama bin Laden's siblings were educated in the west.
  • After his siblings were educated they went to work for Muhammad's Construction Company.
