Our Lady of Lourdes School T4: W7

Newsletter: 30 November 2021

It is hard to believe that we are in the last two weeks of this year. The Ministry of Education have explained that schools will retain their existing COVID-19 settings until the end of the 2021 calendar year. The COVID-19 Protection Framework settings will come into effect for all schools from 1 January 2022.

We will be following the Bishops guidelines when attending church and will be using the 'My Vaccine Pass' to protect our school children community.

Thank you to all those who supported us with NEW WORLD tokens. We have heard from Pioneer New World and gained $3,081 for our school. Again our thanks.

Blessings to you all

Palmerston North City Council

Please avoid the Te Awe Awe/Albert St intersection in the morning, and find a different way to school.

Council is urgently fixing a manhole near the roundabout. While the intersection will be open it will be operating under stop/go and this will cause considerable delays.

They’ve asked us to share this message with you and encourage you to find another route to school in the morning.

They’ll be posting updates on the council facebook page.

Thanks for your patience.
