Golf Swings Away!
The LVMS Golf Teams traveled to Lampasas on Thursday to compete in the LMS Invitational. The Vikings arrived at the course without having practice to prepare for the tournament due to the track season ending on Wednesday. The weather was perfect and the golfing was outstanding. Our girls' team consisted of Braxton Brewer, Hannah Koening, Adrianna Owen, Jenna Janson, and Violet Wheeler. These ladies put up a 1st place team score of 195. The team played well and every member contributed to the 1st place result. Jenna Janson's score of 43 (+7) was good enough to finish 3rd overall as an individual. Adrianna Owen and Violet Wheeler also finished in the 40s as well, placing them in the top 5. The boys' team consisted of Trevor Lane, Eli Olson, Lucas Jackson, Spencer McLaughlin, and Van Crowther. Brysen Cox and Joe Spence competed as individual medalists. These boys put up a 3rd-place team score of 198. Trevor Lane's score of 34 (-2) was good enough to earn him the title of CHAMPION as an individual player. The LVMS Golf Program looks to have an outstanding season. They will be competing next Thursday at Point Venture Golf Club in the LVMS Invitational. We hope to see you out there supporting the kids.

Ascender Parent Portal
If you have received an email from our registrar asking you to complete your child(ren)'s registration in your portal account, please try to have this done as soon as possible. If your child's registration is not complete, your child may be delayed in signing up for their next year courses. Each year you are required to re-register your child(ren) in the district. The state requires the district to collect this information each year.
Spring Reminders
With spring activities and school functions ramping up, we want to remind you to make sure that you check in through the Raptor system. That includes dropping off lunch - those must be delivered to the front office, NOT hand delivered to your student on the way to the cafeteria. Also - Door Dash(or any food delivery service, including Dominos Pizza) will be turned away and not delivered. Food must be delivered by a parent/guardian for your student only - not for their friends.
Also, if you wish to volunteer in anyway we ask that you follow all required procedures. Email me with any questions - thank you for your support!

Vaping = DAEP
HB 114 makes offenses involving the possession and/or or use of vapes a mandatory DAEP offense. School districts will now be required to place all students who are caught in possession and/or or using vapes (of any kind – not just those with drugs) into their DAEP.
Please share this with your children - it's just not worth it!
