Lip Sync - TONIGHT Friday, March 8!

Lip Sync is TONIGHT! Friday 3/8, 7 pm at Indian Crest Middle School Auditorium. We will be collecting boxes of cereal boxes for Keystone Opportunity Center at the event. Come and watch your friends!


Participants: Check in at 6:15 pm. Please take all photos of your child before check in! Props will be checked in at this time - NO confetti or thrown props allowed. Refer to the paper sent home this week for other details. Contact Karen Planinshek @ 2kplan@gmail.com with questions.

Home & School Meeting and Officer Elections - Tuesday 3/12

Please join us for the March Home & School meeting on Tuesday, 3/12 at 7pm in the Library. This month, we will be electing Home & School Board Officers for the open 2019-2021 positions. Come out to meet the candidates, current officers, and also hear what's happening at Vernfield this month. Hope to see you there!

Designer Bag Bingo Volunteer Meeting

We will have a meeting for volunteers helping with the Designer Bag Bingo Event immediately following the HSA meeting on Tuesday, March 12.


Please join us if you'd like to help with Decorating and Set Up or Raffles.

In Case You Missed It...

LITERACY DVD - The committee needs YOUR help! If you are available for even a short time during the day, please consider signing up to help with the taping of the students. The DVD Literacy team has made it very easy for volunteers with detailed instructions. Please consider signing up for a slot or two in order to ensure that your child gets to have this precious keepsake at the end of 5th Grade! 2nd Grade Sign Up (week of 3/20)


Kindness Calendar Challenge - during the month of March. Parents: initial the boxes as your child completes the challenges and return the calendar at the end of March. The class with the greatest percentage of completed Kindness Calendars will win a reward for their class!


Reading Fightin Phils Ticket Book Fundraiser - The Reading Phillies have given us the opportunity to offer books of 6 general admission tickets for $27. Vernfield HSA earns $10 for every book purchased. Ticket books can also be purchased online here. In order to have your tickets for opening day, orders must be in by March 30th.


Philadelphia Union Game - We are offering 2 dates to choose from: May 4th at 7:30 pm and May 18th at 7:30 pm. (On May 4, for an additional fee, sleep over and get soccer training in the morning!) Tickets may be purchased at https://groupmatics.events/group/VernfieldElementary19, and a small portion of the ticket sales will benefit the Home & School. Questions? Monday, March 25 -- Souderton Area School District is excited to announce our first Town Hall Meeting! District administrators and the school board welcome the community to attend this important event, where the state of the District will be discussed - including updates on programs, budget and school safety. The event will take place at 6:30 pm at Indian Crest Middle School Auditorium.


SACE Summer Program Registration is Now Open! Summer Adventure Day Camp offers full day camp with before/after care and day trips.
