WELCOME BACK, TIGERS!

Improving communication has been an important part of CCR3 1st Semester and it will continue to be a focus looking ahead towards the second half of the school year. In addition to receiving the Tiger Enews remember to follow plattsburgtiger on Instagram and Twitter and Clinton County RIII on Facebook. As winter approaches, we would like to remind you that we are a weather aware school and use SchoolWay as one way to notify our community of weather related announcements. If you have not had a chance to download the free app from the app store, do it today! You will receive instant push notifications from our district and/or schools. See www.myschoolway.com/CCR3 for more information.

Lady Tigers partner with the Lady Bearcats for the Ronald McDonald House

Last Friday, the Lady Tigers partnered with their opposing team the Orrick Bearcats to collect items for their team charity, the Ronald McDonald House. The Lady Tigers, coached by Hunter Adkins and Kelsey Workman, believe community service is an important part of building their team. Coach Workman says "It's important to use sports to teach life lessons that go beyond the court. The girls are learning that it is good to serve others and it's also fun and a great team bonding experience. Hopefully they will continue to their service beyond high school basketball. We are teaching them to be winners in life and that is what sports and service are all about." The team has volunteered several times this year at the Ronald McDonald House and participated in their Trunk or Treat at Halloween. The Lady Tigers collected 106 items to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House. Great job, Lady Tigers!
