Our Vision is for our students to use the city itself as a classroom to engage with real world projects and develop a multidisciplinary understanding of the city while developing their academic and social emotional skills to be prepared for post secondary success.
Our Mission is to prepare and create opportunities for students to become the next generation of citizens, design professionals, and civic leaders equipped with an appreciation and holistic understanding of the urban environment, and the knowledge and skills to design, build, and participate in the future development of the city.

What a great week at CityLab! Tuesday the 4th Peter Goldstein and Lorena Tofer- school founders, accepted the urban pioneer design award from the City of Dallas. Many thanks to Our Foundation President- Jaynie Schultz for nominating our co-founders for this prestigious award.
It was a great day for our school. We called Tuesday- Peter Goldstein Day
The dance was absolutely fabulous! thanks to all the parent, staff, and students who made it a success and most importantly our PTO board.
A couple of events happening - I know you want to be apart of:
Saturday December 8th- 8:30-11:30 We will have tutoring as needed for students.
Tuesday December 11th- Open House and Club Expo- 5:00-6:30, PTO meeting 6:00-7:00. Students are welcome to stay and hear the mock trial presentation.'
Finals begin:
Friday December 14th, period 1 and 2 Semester Exams- Full Day of School
Monday December 17th, Early Release 1:40, periods 3 and 4 exams
Tuesday December 18th, Early Release 1:40, periods 5 and 6 exams
Wednesday December 19th,Early Release- Last day for students 1:40, periods 7 and 8 exams
Stay Strong, stay strong there is something inside all of you so strong!

Kudos to the fabulous PTO and all their hard work in hosting the dance for our students.
Thanks to the teachers and staff that showed up to the dance: Ms. Burton, Mr. Price, Ms. Mccray, Ms Copeland, Ms. Nunley ( ask her about her crown), Ms. Boston ( ask her about her musical chairs win), Ms. Yu, Ms. Caston and Mr. Goldstein.
