Reading

This week we started reading the book "Hatchet" by Gary Paulsen.
Students have practiced taking annotations to track the Brian's words, thoughts, and actions, as he faces a series of challenges. They have responded to how Brian has used his prior knowledge to aid in his survival.
As we continue to read, we will track how Brian responds to future challenges and how he changes through the process.

Math

In Math, we will continue to generate numerical patterns using given rules. Students will be able to form ordered pairs from the patterns and graph the ordered pairs on a coordinate plane.

Science

Single Cell and Multi Cell Organisms
In Science, we are shifting our focus from single-celled organisms to multi-celled organisms. We will be learning about the different body systems that make up the human body.
