STAAR Writing Test is this Tuesday, March 29th!
* Be sure to get your kids to bed early!
*Wear some comfortable clothes!
*Wake up early enough to get nice and refreshed!
* Eat a healthy breakfast!
* Get to school on time!

FREE DAY on Wednesday…students may bring electronic device and/or board game

Math this Week:
· No Timed Test or Math Weekly Homework due to Writing STAAR
· Measuring angles with a protractor
· Find adjacent angle measurements
Science this Week
Investigate that most producers need sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide to make their own food, while consumers are dependent on other organisms for food
Describe the flow of energy in food chains
Food chain quiz moved from last week to Friday of this week.
Social Studies this Week
In Social Studies, we will finish the Mexican War and begin discussing the Civil War in Texas.
Due to the Writing STAAR test this week, we would like for the kids to rest and then relax, so we will not have any homework. :-)
That means that we will not have a spelling test or a math timed test this week.
Make sure you bring your recorders for music on your day. :-)

We are collecting tabs for the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth from now until the end of the school year. There will be one container in your teacher’s lounge and another in the front office. Thanks for your help!
