Happy Monday!

I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

We have two days left before the semester ends. Thank you for all of your hard work and for all that you do for our kids at FHN. They continue to make great strides because of your efforts. I am very lucky to work with such a fantastic group of people.

Happy holidays! See you next year!

Five Quick Facts

Steve Moorman--Dean of Students

  1. I am blessed with an amazing wife Shannon and two beautiful daughters, Alyson and Camryn along with wonder parents.
  2. My favorite hobby is spending time at our family farm with my family and friends while participating in numerous outdoor activities.
  3. My favorite movies at this time are Sling Blade, Tombstone, and the Unforgiven.
  4. My favorite books are Where the Wild Things Are (Grandma used to read to me all the time), Where the Red Fern Grows, and Beowulf.
  5. I suffered from Amnesia before 1st grade as a result of being hit by a car while riding a bike leading to a major head injury. As a result, I struggled in 1st grade. My school district never gave up on me. I was able to relearn numerous motor and cognitive skills. Eventually, I found success in school and credit the educational system for my recovery. This experience was very impactful in framing who I am and what I do for a living today. I still have no memory of the accident.

I nominate Stephanie Johnson to go next.

Celebrations

  • Congratulations to Malachi Fedderson, who was recognized by the St. Charles County Ambulance District for his brave efforts in attempting to revive an adult who went into cardiac arrest at a football game in October. Ms. Louis-Bauer, his health teacher was there with him. Malachi learned chest compressions in her class.
  • Congratulations to our 2015-2016 Teacher of the Year FINALISTS:
