Myon Ebooks

Myon ebooks are now available for free through Hoosier Family of Readers. This is a great resource with over 4000 titles including fiction, nonfiction, Spanish and hi-low books. There is a varying level of text complexity and a range of genres and content areas. For our struggling students, many titles have audio so they can follow along. Books are available anywhere 24/7 where internet is available.

I Love To Read Challenge

Students at Raymond Park can participate in WISH TV's I Love to Read Challenge. It runs from January 4th through February 29th. Students keep track of the number of minutes they read daily on a calendar form. Students turn in the form by March 1st to Mrs. Carson to receive a certificate of achievement signed by the Governor and the First Lady. Those students who read a total of 2,500 minutes or more will receive a special Outstanding Reader sticker and qualify to win the grand prize. The winning student will be invited to the Children's Museum for a ceremony to receive their prize. Read On!!
