- DFW miniCAST is your opportunity to network with like-minded science teachers and grow in your passion.
- Join us on February 20th, at Wakeland High School in Frisco to do some science!

Keynote Speaker - Julie Jackson
Her approach is creative, pragmatic, intense, and highly focused. She has a deep understanding of the science standards at all levels and is able to create curriculum and model lessons with high fidelity to the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and best practices. She designs high-quality, inquiry-based professional development opportunities for teachers that transform instruction. She has a record of sustained and powerful site-based interventions that improve student test scores as well as teachers’ attitudes toward teaching science and teaching practices.
