Skull Found in Garden

When construction workers were taking down the old Threadgoode house. They came across a garden full of old skulls and bones of all the animals and fish that the Threadgoode family had caught brought home for their meals. When the construction workers were cleaning it up one did not seem to fit in right considering that it was a human head with a glass eye. This skull is lead to believe to be, Frank Bennett's who went missing in 1930.

Railroad Yard Closing

Sad to say but the Railroad is closing. Grady Kilgore, a retired official of L&N Railroad told me that the country can not run without trains. I think that L&N will be back up and running in no time! Now since the railroad is closed, I talked to Idgie and she says it looks like the cafe will have to close. The only reason for that is that business is down.

Cafe Opens

I would like to announce the opening of the Whistle Stop Cafe. The owners are Idgie Threadgoode and Ruth Jamison. The cooking will be done by Sipsey and Onzell, two coloured women. Outside running the barbecue is Onzell’s husband, Big George.

Idgie says breakfast is available from 5:30 to 7:30. We ate there the other night, my other half says he likes it very much.
