We have had an outstanding start to the 2016-2017 school year! I want your child to be happy and successful at Symmes Elementary and believe that we each play an important role towards achieving this goal. My role includes making sure that our school is a community where teachers, parents and students are invested in quality education and are able to work collaboratively for the benefit of our children. As a parent, one of your roles will be to continually show interest and support for your child’s schooling.
A child who knows that his or her family is interested and supportive of the school program will almost always have fewer problems in school and enjoy greater success than a child whose parents are not involved. When you put your child on the bus each day, please have confidence that the staff at Symmes will do everything we can to ensure a great school year ahead. Education is a joint venture. We must work together to enable students at Symmes Elementary to thrive and achieve at their highest levels.
Please feel free to contact me if you have questions, suggestions or concerns. I am looking forward to an outstanding school year and I look forward to working with you. Let the excitement begin!
