This Week in Room 300...
Math: We are continuing our unit on Measurement
Science: We will be learning about insects all week and we will be waiting on our praying mantises to hatch. We also have lady bug larvae on the way so that we can watch them grow! :)
Writing: We will be writing what we learn about insects.
Guided reading: We will continue to concentrate on reading fluency in our guided reading groups!
Mother's Day Tea
Our Mother's Day Tea is THIS Friday, May 8th at 1:00pm. We are excited to celebrate each and every one of you!
A few reminders:
*If you have not sent in your RSVP slip, please let us know ASAP if you are able to come or not. We need numbers to be able to plan for food/drinks.
*Please arrange for a babysitter if you have any small children (aka children that are not in school during that time). We want for this to be a special time for you and your child.
*Only one mother figure per child to allow for enough seating for everyone
*You can plan on the tea lasting until about 2:00-2:15ish.
*We encourage students to dress up for the event, as well as their moms! :)
Please let me know if you have any questions! We look foward to seeing you!
