Day 1:
- St. Simons Island Beach to Okfenokee Swamp
- St. Simons-The St. Simons Lighthouse is the oldest brick structure in the area. St. Simons was called San Simone by 16th century Spanish explorers.
- Okefenokee- The largest swamp in North America, the Okefenokee Swamp covers roughly 700 square miles and is located in the southeastern corner of Georgia.More than sixty-five million years ago, during the Cretaceous extinction, the region was beneath the sea.
Day 2:
- Callaway Gardens
- Callaway Gardens has been open since 1952. Founders Cason and Virginia Callaway strived for a place where man and nature could exist together for the good of both.
Day 3:
- Lula Lake Land Trust Falls
- Established in January of 1994. Mining, clear-cut timber harvests, and garbage dumping left the land lacking its beauty. Mr. Davenport, the founder, fixed that.
Day 4:
- Carter's Lake Marina & Resort
- The lake is named for Farish Carter, a wealthy Georgia during the first half of the 1800's. Since the completion of the original dam in 1977, Carter's Lake has become popular with fishermen, hikers, mountain bikers, and campers.
Day 5:
- North Georgia Mtns. (Big Canoe)
- At the time of the arrival of settlers from Europe, it was inhabited largely by the Cherokee.
Day 6:
- Six Flags
- Started being made in 1964. When the park opened in 1967, Six Flags became the first 'multi-gate' theme park operator in the United States.
