1st Trimester


1. Primitive face takes form with large black eyes

2. Nueral tube well formed

3. 7.6 - 10 cm long and weighs about 28g


1. Food cravings

2. Breast tenders

3. Constipation

2nd Trimester


1. Ears go from neck to sides of head

2. Bones start to get harder

3. Baby's heart begins to beat


1. Backache

2. Bleeding gums

3. Discharge

3rd Trimester


1. Hearing for baby fully develops

2. Baby's hands are active

3. Baby can distinguish bright sunlight through uterine walls


1. Braxton Hicks Contractions

2. Frequent Urination

3. Swelling

Prenatal Care

Do: Get regular prenatal care and take multi vitamin with 400 to 800 micrograms.

Don't: Drink, Smoke, Do drugs, or get stressed.

Nutrition: Choose at least one good source of vitamin C and Choose food high in fiber.

Exercise: If you exercised before your pregnancy continue to but if you didn't, don't worry about it.
