ROBOTICS COMPETITION 2015
Students and teachers from Barrow County schools are invited to participate in the first ever Roborobo Robotics Competition! Students will be tasked with building and programming a robot to efficiently navigate a pre-made volcanic terrain. The competition is open to any students who have completed the Robotics Curriculum. More information will be provided closer to the start of the competition.
COMPETITION SCHEDULE
ROUND 1 - LOCAL
The first round of competitions will begin on the week of May 11th. Teachers at each school will set aside 3 total hours during the week (all in one day or 1 hour for 3 days) for the construction of the robot and completion of the programming task. Judging for this round will be conducted by the individual school based on rubric. Build instructions and the rubric will be provided closer to the competition week.
Each school will select 2 winning teams to advance to the finals.
ROUND 2 - FINALS

REQUIREMENTS TO PARTICIPATE
QUALIFICATIONS
- Participating students must have completed the curriculum by the start of the competition.
- Each participating team must consist of one teacher/sponsor with two students.
Note: Teachers can sponsor as many teams as they like.

To register for the competition, fill out the Robotics Competition 2015 Team Registration form by no later than May 8th! Each registering team must fill out the form separately.
