Patterns - the foundations of math knowledge
Just like multiplication is repeated addition, there are other patterns in your mathematical world. Look for similarities in the equations and graphs. Look for similarities in the drawings and 3D renderings. Find what is common to all in the group. Make a conjecture about these commonalities and similarities, that is your pattern!
Patterns, patterns, patterns!

2D Figures and 3D solids
(I wanted to show cut-aways of the a cylinder and a rectangular pyramid to show how they are formed by "stacking" the 2D figures, but I could not get the graphics to work correctly!)
