What we are learning...
This week we learned the letter J and more facts about penguins and polar bears. For math, we each voted for our favorite Arctic animal. We discussed the words least, most and same while talking about our voting results. We are continuing math stations in the classroom. I change them out weekly but they always involve number identification, counting, matching a number to a quantity and many other skills.
Soon we will be writing our names the "Kindergarten way" aka title case. Please practice this at home with your child.
Mason and Dakota stamping at the writing center.
Kole's creation with our new magna tiles.
CJ and Odin making their igloos.
