Grammarly for Spelling, and Punctuation
If you've watched YouTube lately, chances are you have seen an add for Grammarly. It is an app designed to go far beyond the basic spell checker. It will check subject-verb agreement, and make vocabulary suggestions in addition to checking your spelling. Grammarly helps writers become more confident and can be used anywhere on the web- email, Facebook, and more! Have your students download Grammarly today! It works with Google Chrome, other Internet browsers, and Microsoft Word. Check it out at www.grammarly.com.
Better Writing with Grammarly
There are several Google Street View 3D tours available of the Mayflower and Plymouth Rock.
Write Reader- Grades K-5
Write Reader is a digital book creator. Students can write and illustrate through the Write Reader app or through Google Chrome. The best part is that we can print out their creations and have them to share. I would love to have an author day. Write Reader provides Common Core linked standards, lesson plans, and you can create unlimited books. Check out some samples here.
Other writing programs similar to Write Reader are Storybird and Story Jumper.
