Talented and Gifted Testing for ALL 2nd Graders

Every year, MSD screens our 2nd graders for identification for Talented and Gifted (TAG) services. We recognize that students who qualify to receive these services may need acceleration and/or enrichment opportunities beyond the regular curriculum.

We will be testing all of our 2nd graders as well as 3rd graders who have not been previously tested for TAG on October 25th from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at our school building, located at 35 S. Bartlett in Medford. The assessment usually takes about 30 minutes to complete. So please bring your child any time between 2:30 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

Parents will be notified of the results within a week of the student completing the test.

Contact Sallie Johnson for additional information at sallie.johnson@medford.k12.or.us

Save the Date for our October MOAdventure

You and yours are invited to attend our October MOAdventure at Pheasant Fields Farm on October 27th from 1:30 p.m. to approximately 3 p.m. They are located at 1865 Camp Baker Rd in Medford.

  • pick out their very own kid-size pumpkin from our pumpkin field

  • learn about the farm animals in our animal display
  • spend time zigzagging through the corn maze and play on lookout hill
