Valentine Day is coming. It's time to fall in love with reading, writing and making sense of the world...
If I could give one piece advice to a person it would be this: fall in love with learning. See what some have said about learning…
“The more that you read, the more things you will know. The more that you learn, the more places you’ll go.” ― Dr. Seuss, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut!
“By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.”― Confucius
We are starting the 3 quarter The school year is more than half way complete. The coming weeks we will focus on tracking our daily and our overall class progress.
Here is what's been going on and what's coming up.
Unit 3 : America on Trail
Essential Question: Is mass incarceration in the United States a human rights violation against African-Americans?
“Our problem is not an American problem, it’s a human problem. It’s not a Negro problem - it’s a problem of humanity. It’s not a problem of civil rights, but a problem of human rights.” (Malcolm X; Cairo, Egypt; July 1964).
