Welcome!
Happy Thanksgiving Break!
Marcia and Emily
We are ready for mini-term!
An Hour of Code
Joining thousands of other schools, we will be running online tutorials, iPad apps and unplugged activities throughout the week to introduce students to computer science as part of this world-wide initiative. Lower school will participate during their regular library/computer time, Emily and Ross will help recruit upper schoolers. Let us know if you'd like to book an hour for your class.
Throughout the winter term we will be building in elements of computer science into the library/technology curriculum using apps, Scratch, unplugged activities and our new Lego Mindstorms EV3 robot kit. Exciting!

Terrific Tool
At a recent conference I attended, a number of presenters used Smore as their presentation tool; easy links and handy for reference once back home. Pretty, versatile, free and so easy to use this is great way to share information with parents, students or friends and family.
