Student In Person Return Survey - Response Required
If you have not already done so, please review and respond to the Fireside Elementary School Survey for Student In Person Return by Wednesday, September 16. Please complete one survey for each student at Fireside Elementary School. If you have children who attend other district schools you will receive a survey from that school site. Your response is a critical component in planning for our in person reopening. The survey is being administered to gauge parent intent as we return to in person learning. The responses will allow us to design programs and protocols to support student learning and well being.

Information About Specials and Extracurriculars
Specials menus are back! We are happy to announce that afternoon specials enrichment will return to the menu board option for all students. This will allow students to participate in specials at any time and in activities that interest them. Thank you specials teachers! Specials boards will be provided directly to students for participation.
Chorus has started!
Attention 4th, 5th and 6th Graders:
Chorus will start on Wednesday Sept 9 and you will have a choice of two rehearsals, either 8 am or 2:50 pm. Both rehearsals run 40 minutes. Links to sign up are in your music google classroom! The Fireside Chorus needs you, so sign up TODAY!!! We are still accepting new members!
Afterschool Enrichment Classes Available!
Afterschool Enrichment classes are being offered virtually so that your child can continue to be inspired, try new things, and pursue their interests. New classes are added weekly - check it out HERE!
Library Books are Available for Checkout
Students are now able to check out books! Here are the guidelines and a short video on how to place books on hold in Destiny.
PLEASE NOTE:
K-2nd can hold/check out one book, 3rd-6th can hold/check out 2 at a time.
I will run the report at 3:15 on Tuesday afternoon, to hopefully have the books ready for Thursday pick up.
We will add the books to the Teacher pick up bins.
If the book is not there on Thursday, there may be several reasons: the number of books the student has out, someone else still has the book, or it's still being quarantined (I must hold all books for 72 hours before I can check them out again).
Thank you!
Please click here to access Destiny for checkout.
