Winter News 2016
Two Rivers Reading Council
New Year, New Opportunities
Congratulations to Sheryl Orr! She was the winner of the membership contest. Her name was drawn out among the new and renewed members of TRRC between Aug-Oct. 2015. She won a $100 Hotels.com gift certificate.
TRRC would like to thank all of the building reps who participated in our Bulletin Board contest. The winners were pre-service teachers, Brittany Reilly and Alissa Combe from Olivet Nazarene University and they received Barnes & Noble gift cards. We also wanted to recognize those hard working teachers who went above and beyond to help spread the word of our fabulous organization by displaying bulletin boards at their schools. We thanked them with a Barnes and Noble gift card. Thank you to Mary Fitzpatrick, Lisa Homerding, Melody Orth. Your displays were awesome!
Most of our board members attended the Illinois Reading Conference in Peoria, IL this past fall. A great time was had by all. So many fabulous educators gathering in one place to share their love of literacy and learning! TRRC is pleased to announce that we won FIRST PLACE for our Hall of Council display. Check out the pictures of some of the fun that was had.
