Walnut High School partnered with the Walnut Sheriff's Department to talk about seeing and identifying threats on our campus as well as the run-hide-fight protocol. This video below was shown to our entire student population. We cannot stress the importance of working together as a community, communicating, and reporting any possible threats.

PLTW Bio Med getting Hands-On Experience!
Our Human Body Systems class is visiting the Southern California University of Health Sciences today where they get to view pre-dissected human specimens and discuss topics regarding embryology, neurology, the special senses, and internal organs. This is another PLTW experience that is unique and not often seen at the high school level!
Walnut High School Honors Kobe & 8 Others
Kobe Bryant and eight others lost in the tragic helicopter crash were remembered at the Wednesday night basketball games. Both teams traded violations at the beginning of the game to honor Kobe. While the Girls Varsity had the unusual score at halftime of 24-8, that matched both of Kobe’s LA Laker jersey numbers.

Save the Date! Walnut High School Prelude to Spring Concert on February 12 and 13 will feature all five choirs along with choir students from Suzanne and South Pointe Middle Schools.

In the 2019-2020 school year, Walnut High School introduced the Cisco Networking Academy. The 2.5 year program requires no previous computer knowledge and provides students with foundations in Information Technology and Networking, as well as opportunities for highly sought after industry certifications. Art Competition for the PAC 20th Anniversary!
The Performing Arts Center is turning 20! There will be a gala celebrating 20 years of performing arts at WHS on Friday, April 3 at 7:00 PM. Be sure to save the date.
To celebrate, we are holding an art competition with the theme Celebrating the Arts: Past, Present, and Future. All current students and alumni are encouraged to submit their work.
Practice SAT Test at the Walnut Library!
Walnut Library will have a practice SAT Test and review in February. Any teen that would like to take the practice test should register at the library. The test is free.
