Where Have All the Bookmarks Gone?
Don't forget that when you leave for the summer, your computers will most likely be re-imaged. This means that anything you have saved to your computer will be gone, which includes your bookmarks!
Depending on which browser you use, there are two options for you.
Depending on which browser you use, there are two options for you.
- Chrome Option 1: Go into your Settings and sign into your Chrome Browser. This is something separate from logging into your GMAIL or Drive. This will connect all of your bookmarks and settings to your Google Account, so anywhere where you log into your Chrome account, your bookmarks will load. (Keep in mind this is not something you want to sign into on public or shared computers as passwords are also saved.)
- Chrome Option 2: If you cannot or do not want to sign into Chrome, then please click here for instructions on how to export and save a file of your bookmarks for next year.
- Firefox Option 1: Firefox also has an account option that will save bookmarks and settings called Sync. Click on the menu button and click the Sign in to Sync button. You can create an account that you can use similarly to Google Chrome, where you can log into it on any device and load your bookmarks and settings. Click here for more information.
- Firefox Option 2: If you cannot or do not want to sign into Firefox as well, then please click here for instructions on how to export and save a file of your bookmarks for next year.
Summer Reading
Did you know that as a district we have hundreds of eBooks and eAudio available for checkout and download? Any staff member in the district can access them. Click here for instructions on how to download and access the eReader apps available.
Some staff may not have library accounts created automatically, if you are having issues logging in, please click here to request that an account be created or fixed.
