COVID VACCINE CLINIC - THURSDAY, JULY 14TH
If you got your first dose on June 21st, it's time for the follow up!
If you need a first dose, second dose, or booster, please attend a community COVID Vaccine Clinic at Harmony Grove Elementary School this Thursday, July 14th. The Vaccines will be provided by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health COVID-19 Mobile Vaccine Program.
What: COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic
Where: Harmony Grove Elementary School, 169 Leland Street, Framingham, MA 01702
When: July 14, 2022; 3:30pm - 6:30pm
Who: Pfizer Vaccine and Pfizer booster vaccines will be available for those aged 5yo and older. We will also have Moderna vaccines for those under 5 years old. The COVID-19 vaccine is free. You can get a vaccine even if you do not have insurance, a driver’s license, or a Social Security number.
Let's Get Vaccinated!
COVID-19 vaccines are available for free to anyone ages 6 months and up! Bring your family and friends to the clinic!
FPS SUMMER PARK MEETUPS
Join us each Monday, Tuesday, and/or Thursday!
This Summer, the Department of Community Resource Development is hosting a series of Family Summer Park Meetups. We rotate to parks around the city with lawn games and community partners. Families are welcome to bring a picnic! This week there are events tonight (7/12) and Thursday (7/14).
All family members can join in and participate in fun outdoor activities, yard games, interactive activities, and resources will be available from special community partners.
SUMMER READING
The Framingham Public Schools’ reading list includes a variety of authors and types of books which take into account the diversity of our student body. Please support your student in the exploration of different types of books and encourage your student to read quietly for at least 20 minutes a day.

The Framingham Public Library Foundation and the Framingham Public Library are inviting community members to a special celebration! Noche De Fiesta will feature a beer garden, food trucks (food available to purchase), music, dancing, arts & crafts, and more.

FRAMINGHAM PARKS AND REC EVENTS
Community Corner
Framingham families and residents are invited to join the Parks and Recreation Department, Police Department, Fire Department, Library Bookmobile, and the Metrowest YMCA in a free outdoor community program with field games, a reading corner, arts and crafts, music, and prizes. Drop in for a short time or the entire 2 hours!
Remaining dates and locations include:
- July 22nd from 11am - 1pm - Danforth Park
- August 5th from 11am - 1pm - Anna Murphy Park
- August 19th from 11am - 1pm - Weston Aqueduct (698 Water Street)
- August 26th from 11am - 1pm - Arlington Street Park
Framingham Friday Night Concert Series
If you've never driven by the Centre Common (2 Oak St) on Friday evenings in the summer, you might not know about these awesome events! Framingham residents are invited to bring a blanket or chairs, picnic or purchase food from local vendors, and enjoy live music. Brought to you from Framingham Parks and Rec, and with the help of some local sponsors, these awesome events happen every Friday night throughout the summer. Any cancellations due to weather will be made by 3:00pm on the Parks and Rec website, Facebook & Instagram pages.
