In the month of October we went on field trips, worked on class projects, and received visitors! Here is a quick look at what MCS students were up to this past month!
Apple Picking
Our preschoolers through 4th graders went apple picking this month to Lawrence Farms. They had a blast and picked a lot of apples!

Our upper grades had the chance to visit the Maritime Museum and Trolley Museum in Kingston, NY. They were able to ride on a century-old trolley and cruise on a solar-powered boat.

CHAPEL
We were delighted to welcome Ravina Hetnarine to our chapel on October 29th. She shared a children's story she had written herself about "Snappy-The Unhappy Tacky Talking Scissors." The lesson in the story reminded students that "words cut deep just like scissors, so be careful what you say to others." This presentation was a great conclusion to our month-long anti-bullying theme.
"So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets." Matthew 7:12 NIV
