Corona Virus District update
Please read these updates from Holly Hughes:
If your spring break travel is international, please be sure to review and heed any travel advisories as they relate to the Coronavirus. If you are traveling to high risk areas such as Italy, China, Iran or Japan, health authorities will likely require health monitoring for up to 14 days. As Dr. Smith shared in his memo, it is district expectation that any employee who is traveling to an area known to have a Coronavirus outbreak will follow all CDC instructions. In addition, all employees who have been issued a district laptop should take it home over the break (and on a daily basis after the break).
Once we return after the break, due to the heightened health concerns and the potential for increased absences beyond the control of our students, consider not highlighting perfect attendance as we enter the last nine-weeks. Also, we want to be sensitive to students who have concerns about the utilization of water fountains on campus and allow the use of individual water bottles.
