Each week in Room 22 just gets better and better! I am so enjoying getting to know your wonderful children.

All orders are due by Friday, October 2. Our school number is 13936.

Reflections Contest

All students are encouraged to submit an original work. The theme this year is "Let Your Imagination Fly". There are several categories - film production, literature, music composition, photography, visual arts, dance choreography.

Solana Highlands Library Books

The children were able to check out a book from our school library this week. They are allowed to take these books home to enjoy for one week. Please be sure to have your child return their book every Tuesday so that they may pick out a new book each week.

Please check the Solana Beach Child Development Center website if you are interested in after-school enrichment classes for your child.

Parent Volunteers -

Parent Volunteers will begin in Room 22 during the week of September 29.

All volunteers must have the results of a current TB test and a signed copy of the Volunteer Code of Conduct on file with the office before you can begin volunteering.

Scholastic Book Orders

Another great way to support our classroom is to order books online through Scholastic Book Clubs. When parents order online great things happen:

*I pay no shipping fees for books

*You get a $5 free book pick to use on your next order

*I get $3 to spend on our classroom library for every parent order

You will need to complete a short registration and enter our class code:LFBGH
