First Grade Happenings -
Each week in Room 22 just gets better and better! I am so enjoying getting to know your wonderful children.
In math last week, we focused on ways to make 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10. You can read more about this at Math News: Grade 1, Module 1, Topic B.
2015 Genevieve's Fall Fundraiser will continue through October 2. You can order through the catalog or you can go online:
A great feature of this fundraiser is that out of town relatives can also support our school by ordering online - yay!

Parent Volunteers -
All volunteers must have the results of a current TB test and a signed copy of the Volunteer Code of Conduct on file with the office before you can begin volunteering.
Scholastic Book Orders
Another great way to support our classroom is to order books online through Scholastic Book Clubs. When parents order online great things happen:
*I pay no shipping fees for books
*You get a $5 free book pick to use on your next order
*I get $3 to spend on our classroom library for every parent order

**Be sure children wear appropriate shoes everyday for PE. No crocs or sandals.
