Rotation Sunday School
During the month of November, the children will be studying the story of the "Burning Bush" (Exodus 3:1-15) through art, cooking, creative dramatics, science, and games. The children will learn the following :
- When we are with God, we stand on holy ground.
- God calls us by name.
- We will listen to what God wants us to do.
Frolic Preschool
The preschool children will learn about the stories of Jacob and Esau. During this time, they will make hairy arms with fake pieces of fur, and play with mystery boxes (closing their eyes, putting their hand inside a box and guessing object).
They will also learn about Joseph and his brothers. This unit will feature decorating robes and playing with technicolor play dough.
Play -N-Worship
Family Missions Sunday
Family Mission Sunday will take place Sunday November 10, immediately following the 10:30 worship service. After enjoying a pizza and salad lunch, we will make dog bandanas and cat toys for the Huron Valley Humane Society, toiletry bags and Christmas ornaments for Grace Center of Hope, birthday bags and art bags for Pontiac Lighthouse, Christmas cards for the troops, bookmarks for college students, and painted birdfeeders for residents of nursing homes. The whole OLCC,P family is invited and encouraged to attend.
