Bobcat PRIDE
Sunset Valley Elementary - week of April 30 - May 4
The Principal's Den
- Grades K-3 are all growing! Kinder, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades will all have 5 teachers! 4th grade will have 4 teachers.
- We are welcoming Lisa Steele-White to Kindergarten and Meghan Sweeten & Stephanie Kuntz to 3rd grade. These ladies are all joining us from other KellerISD schools.
- I am also in the process of interviewing some amazing teachers to fill our new 1st and 2nd grade positions.
- At this time, all of the other K-4 teachers we have on staff this year will all be returning too!!!!
- We do have to say goodbye to our GT teacher, Tara Yancy. She is going to be working at Parkwood Hill Intermediate next year. We will be welcoming Donna Hodges as our new GT teacher. She is an experienced GT teacher from right here in the district! We are excited to get to know Mrs. Hodges.
In an effort to provide the best learning environment for your child, we will be sending home a parent form to all of our current K-3 families that will allow you to list specific characteristics of your child so that you are able to share thoughts on next years class placement. It is important to understand that we do not take parent requests for specific teachers; however, we do consider the academic and personality styles of each child when deciding on teacher placements for the following year. K-3 families, you should see this form in your child's Tuesday folder.
The 4th Ever SVES Survey
