Fall 2021 District Planning
We Need Your Help to Plan Ahead for the Fall
Please take this two-minute survey to tell us whether you think you might have your child attend our schools in-person or through Park Hill Online. This is only to help us estimate enrollment as we continually improve – it does not commit you to any decision.

Thank You Post Cards
Park Hill School District created a simple and fun way for you to send support to a Park Hill staff member using a digital postcard. All you need is their email address! Click HERE to try it out!
Greg Tang Parent Night
Have you ever wondered, why do they teach math differently than when I was in school? Have you ever wanted to learn more about how your child explores math and numbers in school?
This is an amazing opportunity for parents to learn from one of the same individuals who has provided professional development to our teachers and district leadership. He also provided a training session to parents last year. Please take an hour of your time to learn from Greg Tang. You'll learn about how we teach math at school AND how you can support your students at home.
Dates:
K-2 Families February 3, 2021 6:00-7:00
3-5 Families February 4, 2021 6:00-7:00
Please use the appropriate link to register. A zoom link will be emailed you next week.
Southeast Broadcasting Club
There is limited space available, and it is first come first serve. Students will meet via Zoom to record announcements for our school. If the slots are full, feel free to reach out to Ms. Crapps by email (CrappsA@parkhill.k12.mo.us) or phone (816-359-6130), so she can put your child on a waiting list for the club.
Valentine/Friendship Parties
Online families will have supplies to pick-up including an Eileen's cookie! For this party, we will not have a SignUp Genius. Supplies will be laid out on tables outside the office
As we prepare, we want to be ready to support any students who do not bring notes for their peers to school. Positive notes are a great way for students to show kindness to one another! If you are able, and interested in helping, please send an extra package/box of cards to school for our students who do not have them. Here are some things to keep in mind if you are able to help:
- Please make sure there are enough for an entire class - 24 cards.
- Please consider getting cards that would be appropriate for older students.
Antigen Testing
Registration Now Open for Park Hill Spelling Bee

January Curriculum Connections
Check out the linked Curriculum Connections below to see what Park Hill students are learning! We want to share the learning topics at all of the grade levels so that you can ask your child about their learning this month. Your child's teacher is always happy to provide more details should you have questions!

This week we awarded 4,766 PBIS Leadership Points!
- 1st Quarter Total: 50,858 points
- 2nd Quarter Total: 48,966 points
This year we are working hard to recognize students for all the great things that they are doing. When staff notice students following our school PBIS expectations (Be Safe, Be Kind, Be Proactive, Be a Leader) they often award students a Leadership Point.
Southeast Communication
You will find several ways to stay up to date on school activities on the Southeast website , Facebook, and newsletters from your child’s teacher. You will also occasionally get an automated email or voicemail message sent to you, by the school, with important information and reminders. We know two-way communication is best, so please feel free to call or email with any questions you may have regarding your child’s education.
