Getting into the Swing of READ 180 Rotations

This week, students should be in full rotations. The district expectation is that students will login in to the Student Software a minimum of three times per week for 15 - 20 minutes per session. Use the Participation Report to track students' software activity. A sample report may be found here.

Additionally, the district guidelines anticipate that each student will read a minimum of two books per six weeks. If students are reading shorter books, they would be expected to read more. Please remind student of the recommended reading range - 50 points above their lexile to 100 points below.

Each part of the READ 180 program plays an important role in student success. Please monitor student data and activities to ensure they are maximizing their reading opportunities.

If your students encounter technical difficulties with the software, please make sure they are accessing the program via Google and have working headphones and microphones. If they continue to have problems, please complete a Technology Services Service Request. Persistent issues should be forwarded to either Debbie or me.
