MONDAY, December 9: B Day: Lunch~ Mac & Cheese

- 2:15-2:45: 4th Grade Team
- 3:40-4:35: Yoga in the BRMES library
WEDNESDAY, December 11: B Day: Lunch ~ Grilled Cheese/Tomato Soup
- Eagle Eye: 5 winners per class (Hot Cocoa in lounge after announcements)
- Free clothing for anyone...it will be on tables in the main hallway (we are cleaning out our donations!)
- 12:40-1:05: 1st Grade Team Meeting
- 1:10-1:35: Kinder Team Meeting
- 2:15-2:45: 2nd Grade Team Meeting
- 3:15-3:45: ALL Staff "Cookie Exchange/Holiday Giving/Card Signing" 3:15 in Library (Bring 4 dozen homemade goodies (and your own container to take 2-3 dozen home).
- 3:45-4:45: Yoga @ MDHS
THURSDAY, December 12: A Day: Lunch ~ Alfredo
- Recycling Day ~ Set out your paper tubs

FRIDAY, December 13: B Day: Lunch ~ Fish Sticks
- Giving Tree Gifts Due to our office today...
- Holiday Spirit Friday: It's Cold Outside (Wear sweaters, ear muffs, hats, scarves,etc)
- RtI/Intervention Team 'Data Summit' Day in Conference Room (8:30-3:00)
- 8:30: Initial IEP (Barcas)
- 9:30: Initial IEP (Warner)
- 10:30: Initial IEP (Standar)
- 12:30: Eligibility/IEP Mtg (Wave)
- 12:10: Doane's class to take last iStation Math in lab
- 6:00-?: BRMES Staff (+1 adult guest) Xmas Party @ Borg's home {45 Knob Hill Drive}. Bring a $5. or less wrapped garrden gift (with no name on)/adult if you wish to participate! As of now, nobody has offered a babysitting service, thus you may have to combine/merge/plan that part on your own.
- Start finding those babysitters. Sticking to tradition, you are invited to bring a $5. "garden" gift / adult (one adult guest is also invited).

- Wipe down counters/tables/tidy up
- Load/Unload dishwasher (daily, if needed)
- Check Frig's once during the week - throw away stinky/expired things
- Throw away old flyers/old mail that piles up
- Adjust chairs/tables if shifted
To Do List & Upcoming Dates:
- Dec. 9-20: Elf on the Shelf (2 of them): Sign up here! I could use a few more 'hiders'/creators if you can sign up to take a night (or early morning).
- Jan. 17: 7th Annual District Art Contest: Encourage students to enter the "nature" contest this year or take it on as a class. Entries are due no later than January 17th.
- Jan. 17: Future Into Reading Trainings: Jan. 17, March 13, and May 15. Subs will release these teachers to attend the training in the East Computer Lab: 8:00-9:30 Grades 2 & 3 / 10:30-12:00 Grades 4-5 / 1:00-3:00 Grades K-1
- March 19: Roaring Readers "Home" Log Sheets: (Classroom Teachers Only). Send home with students the parent/student information/log sheet.
- March 19: Deadline to submit any student Patriotism Essays (per the Lions Club Contest - hanging by the downstairs copy machine). Paricipate with your students, if you wish.
- March 2: Any MDEF Grants must be submitted for pre-approval.
- June 15-19: Camp Invention: I could still use 1 more instructor to put on the list....base pay is $550 for the week for anyone (certified or classified) ....it goes from 8:30-3:30 M-F for one week only. Let me know! I will also need 3-6 middle or high school 'helpers'.

Artist Visitor? Artist Carl Rowe will be visiting McCall on December 16 & 17 to share his paintings of the past year, created while he we Artist-in-Residence for the Idaho Conservation League. He is interested in visiting individual classrooms or schools while he is in town to talk about his work and his travels through Idaho.

Idaho Sled Dog Challenge Information: Brandi is our 'go to' resource in this area. We have some connections and an opportunity to bring a workshop to McCall (on a Saturday, Jan. 11). Here is the information if you wanna peak at what it could offer you. The school can pay the registration fee too (if you let me know you wanna sign up). Join us and discover ways to incorporate Iditarod into your classroom. Workshops feature:
- Information about Iditarod, dog mushing, dog care before, during, and after the race
- STEM connections for your students
- Lessons and activities for real time authentic learning
- Presenters/Speakers include: Musher, veterinarian, Iditarod EDU faculty.
Workshop Basics:
Cost: $50 - $75 per teacher (cost depends on the number of teachers - less than 20 would be $75 each and more than 20 would be $50 each)
