Coding at D44
Code.org is now synced with Clever. Like Zearn and Moby Max both teachers and students will be instantly logged in after they sign into Clever. Logging in allows teachers the ability to assign courses to students as well as track progress.
Since coding is now apart of our science curriculum here are two guides to get you started. Code.org is putting on the Hour of Code event during December 4-10 this would be a great time to get started.

Support Request for the WHS Winter Musical
Non- Classroom Teaching Staff:
I am asking that all non K-5 classroom teaching staff to kindly choose one night to attend and support our programs. Although it is not required, it is greatly appreciated. Please use the link below to indicate which night you will be attending. Once we know who will be attending on what night, a support role will be assigned to you.
WHS STAFF SIGN UP FOR WINTER MUSICALS AT GWMS
Classroom Teaching Staff:
I am assuming that you will attend the night of your students' performance. Each teacher will be assigned a separate classroom as the holding tank for your students. One parent will drop off and pick up your students from your assigned classroom. If for any reason you are unable to attend the musical for your students, please let me know as soon as possible.
WHS Staff Spotlight:
This is Becky Waldbusser's 14th year at WHS. She enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.
Some of Becky's favorites include:
Song- "I have so many! One is "Over the Rainbow."
Food- ice cream
Movie- "The Sound of Music"...lots of memories attached, and I love musicals."
Becky is inspired by her mom. " She has always given all of herself for those that she loves.."
Finally, Becky believes, "That children must feel safe to explore and make discoveries before they will be willing to take the risks to make them."
