Glamourcraft Photography
Glamourcraft Photography was here on Tuesday, January 12 for makeup pictures for in-person/remote learners. If your child had their picture taken, please allow 10 - 14 days to receive an email from Glamourcraft. In the email, you will see the picture and a link to order the pictures. If you do not receive an email within that time frame, please call Glamourcraft at 817-923-9901.

Late arrivals
IPAD
- Check to see if all updates have been installed on the school iPad. Go to Settings > General > Software Update > Download and Install (tap if it shows an update is available).
- Please delete most photos and videos to free up space. Only photos of school projects that have not been uploaded to Seesaw need to be kept. There should be no personal photos on the iPad.
- Please clean the screen with appropriate iPad-friendly cleaning wipes.

GT/ASPIRE TESTING
Parents of in-person students that have signed up for GT/ASPIRE testing:
GT specialists will administer any necessary GT LEAD and ASPIRE testing to kinder and fifth-grade students from January 8, 2021, through January 22, 2021. Parents will be notified regarding results as soon as the assessment process is completed.
Remote learners will be contacted regarding testing during the spring semester.
Play It Safe
Play It Safe will be happening at OCT on Jan. 28... via ZOOM... presented by the Women's Center. This program will ONLY BE AVAILABLE for IN-PERSON learners. Remote students will NOT be able to participate.

Outdoor Recess Information
During our Texas "winters" we follow the district guidelines for outdoor recess. As long as it is not raining and the playground is relatively dry we will go outside if the temperature AND the windchill are 37 degrees or higher.
Extra Mask
Also, please make sure your child has an extra mask in their backpack every day.
What We Are Learning
*Reading- I can read words in a snap.
*Writing- I can write a how-to story with three steps. I can edit my how-to story. I can make a writing goal.
*Math- I can recognize, count, and write the numbers 19-20. I can tell one more and one less than a number to 20. I can count on.
*Science- I can explore interactions between magnets and various materials.
