Out of This World
We did a variety of dino and space art projects and activities during centers, including finishing patterns on dinosaur spikes, peeling dino stickers, marble painting planets, and ordering rockets by size. At circle time, we took turns matching letters, practiced walking backwards to our chair after we checked in, and asked and answered social questions. The weather these past couple of weeks taught us how it can be sunny one minute but raining the next. During P.E., we played red light/green light, shook the parachute, and passed a ball to friends in a circle.
We had a lock down drill on Tuesday this week and I honestly have never had a class be so quiet. Everyone did a fantastic job having a quiet mouth and hiding. We celebrated Ms. Heather's birthday last week - happy birthday to our wonderful Program Specialist!
