BUCCANEER BRAVOS
- BRAVO, TEACHERS, COUNSELORS, FAITH & MARIA for completing RTI-2 end of year procedures during planning on Thursday!
- KUDOS to CATHERINE TROSCLAIR for heading up this year's Third Grade Salad Day! The salad and the dressing were delicious & our third graders thoroughly enjoyed the kale!
- EXCITING OPPORTUNITY for Kellie and Mary ahead! They will mentor a Counseling Intern in the next school year. Her name is Annie Peskin and she is a student at Mercer! We always appreciate when we can have our future educators learn from the best!
Get Excited! Here's What's On the Horizon:
- Training on Science/Social Studies materials - mandatory to anyone who will teach Sci/SS next year. LINK TO VIEW TRAINING SCHEDULE AND TO SIGN UP
BLT Retreat
Our CURRENT Buccaneer Leadership Team is invited to join us at noon on Tuesday, 5/15, at The Mill Restaurant in Roswell for lunch and our final meeting of the year. CALENDAR TO REVIEW (AND BLURB BELOW).
Please bring:
- Any dates that did not make it to the calendar as of yet. We will edit together.
- Your team's greatest success or point of pride.
- An idea of whether you think it is beneficial to keep two team leaders or go back to one. Decision as to who may best serve in this capacity.
- Leadership training you would find beneficial for next year.
Calendar 2018-19
If you see a mistake or have additional additions, please have your team leader bring it to BLT. We will take care of it there - no emails regarding the calendar at this time, please!
One feature you will notice is that we have TECH THURSDAYS. Carrie Lowery will be at MBES most Thursdays next year. During 8 of those Thursdays, we will offer Microsoft Innovative Educator Training (MIE) to all who are interested. We also have support days for CTLS, cool tools, and time for you to sign up to work with Carrie to impact your classrooms.
Georgia Milestones Retest
Fifth graders who require a retest in Math will likely be retested on Monday, May 21st in the morning.
Retests will be administered online. Faith and Maria are working on logistics (who will test, how we will communicate with parents, etc.)
