MOM Weekly 12.14.15

It's great to be a Mayan!

Mr. Torres' Celebration

Be on the lookout for information regarding our congratulatory get together for Rudy. We will be thanking him for 12 years of dedicated service to our community and wishing him the best as heads down the road to SOM as AP Torres. Bittersweet as Mr. Torres has called this move but one that encompasses a career of work to be very proud of. Way to go Rudy!

Mrs. Inzunza sent an email and PowerPoint on Friday detailing the finals process. Alejandra is the main contact for testing while Rudy and Carolina will be supporting the process. I will be the primary administrator dealing with discipline so that Mrs. Inzunza can concentrate on testing.

I've sent emails to the Mayan's who have either retired or moved sites and hope to give you an update on one or more each week. This week I want to let you know that Laurie was hired as a full time school psychologist by the Chula Vista Elementary School District. She is also busy raising her 3 girls and her oldest just started Kindergarten this year. Laurie still proudly wears her It's great to be a Mayan shirt. Mrs Schmitz also wanted to wish everyone at MOM a happy new year!
