Blaze Bulletin
Edition 16 - December 5th
Greetings...
Dear Teachers,
Thanks for the several tips on possible student issues/behaviors we have received this week. You are being super vigilant, and we are following up with investigations. Anything you hear that concerns you, please let us know. We must take a collective stand to maintain the expectations of behavior that is a hallmark of our school.
Have a great weekend - you deserve it!

Social/Emotional Tip of the Week
REMIND STUDENTS FROM TIME TO TIME:
• DO ONE THING AT A TIME. When you are eating, eat. When you are walking, walk.
When you are working, work. When you are in a conversation with a friend, be present in
that conversation with your friend. When you are learning in class, be present to learn.
Give each activity your whole focus.
• If other actions, thoughts, or strong feelings distract you, LET GO OF DISTRACTIONS,
and go back to what you are doing—go back again and again and again.
• CONCENTRATE. If you find you are doing two things at once, stop and
go back to one thing at a time.

Teachers will be amazed at how easy and fast this communication process can be. The new sites will launch county-wide on January 3.
