Be a Difference Maker
December 4, 2020

From the Principal...
Hello Seton Community,
As Christmas quickly approaches, we want to take this time to thank you again for all you have done and all you have sacrificed to make face to face learning possible at Seton Catholic. We know that this is not the school year you expected, but we will continue to do all we can to make it wonderful and safe.
As part of our year of Being Difference Makers we continue to do for others. So far this school year we have given to the Hello Happiness Creativity Center and The Wisconsin Humane Society. We have also made hundreds of Christmas cards for our elderly and shut-in parishioners, Thanksgiving cards to add to food boxes, and started a prayer chain for our helpers. In addition, we are reaching out to help our local businesses during this difficult time through Pride In Partnership.
To continue this good work, we will be collecting for our hat, mitten, and sock tree beginning today. Please help us fill our tree with new gifts of warmth for local children in need. All donations will be given to Catholic Charities of Sheboygan as part of their Winter Giving campaign. Thank you for all you do for our school and our local community.
St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, pray for us.
Sincerely,
Dr. Stephanie Nardi, Principal

Welcome Our Newest Team Member
Hello, my name is Suzanne Rea. I am so excited to be offered a position at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School as an Intervention and Special Education Aide. Throughout my career as a school social worker, I have found great reward in working with students with disabilities from 4K through high school. My desire is to work collaboratively with teachers, parents and administration to meet the needs of all students.
On a personal note, I relocated to Wisconsin from New Jersey to live out my dream. I first visited Plymouth when I was a teenager. From that point on each time I visited Wisconsin It brought tears to my eyes to go back home. Two years ago, I decided to leave it all behind when I came to realize that Wisconsin would be my new “Home.” One cannot wait for the perfect opportunity to move forward, for that day may come and go and we may never know how different our lives would be without taking a chance.
I hope to build trusting relationships as a support person at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School. I am open-minded, willing to listen and I love and respect the individual. Please don’t hesitate to call on me. Let us work together to meet any challenges that our youth and their families may be facing. I look forward to being a part of the community.
Sincerely,
Suzanne Rea, MSW

Thank You and Please Remember...
I am happy to report that we are still doing well under the current health crisis. Thank you for your patience and for your consideration for our school community.
I want to send out a couple of quick reminders as COVID numbers in the state continue to rise.
If a member of your household has symptoms or is being tested for COVID, do not send any of the household children to school until that family member has been cleared. The children may attend virtually.
If your child is required to isolate due to symptoms, Seton School does not require a COVID test for his/her return. We require a note or email from the child's physician that clears the child for return to school. This may mean that your child is required to stay home for 10-14 days. Please do not call your physician stating that school needs a test.
Keep in mind that a COVID test can be taken too early. A test taken right after exposure may not actually mean you are negative. Please consult your physician.
Please understand that Seton School is regulated by laws that prohibit us from sharing the personal medical information of any staff or students. If there is any exposure or positive cases at Seton School, you will receive notification. Do not call or message asking about the medical status of staff or students.
Masks are required daily. Please be sure that your child comes prepared to school with a clean and well-fitting mask each day. We are seeing many more students with masks that fall off or with no mask at all. Staying safe and healthy is a team effort.
Thank you for helping us stay safe, healthy, and open. Please let Dr. Nardi know if you have questions regarding any of the reminders above. Have a wonderful day.
