MCCHS FRIDAY FOCUS
159th EDITION: June 5, 2020
From the Desk of Mr. Vito DeFrisco
As this year comes to an end, I want to take this opportunity to thank you, the faculty and staff, and our students. Marian Central is very special to me. In addition to being a former Marian employee from 1994 until 1998, I was also a Marian parent. I have enjoyed serving as your interim superintendent for the past two years. I feel blessed that you allowed me to be part of the MCCHS community.
Together we have faced some unusual challenges, including the building lightning strike and the COVID-19 pandemic. In close to 30 years that I have been in education, I have never experienced anything like this past year. One thing I know for sure that has not changed is the blessings that come with educating students.
I am very grateful to Marian's faculty and staff for their continued dedication to our students and Catholic education. I am also pleased that Mr. Shukis will be stepping into the role of Marian's next superintendent. I am confident you are in good hands.
Again, thank you for allowing me to be part of your school community, and I will remember you all in my prayers. I wish you a safe and healthy summer!
Sincerely,
Vito C. DeFrisco
