It is Spirit Week at Morgan in honor of Eisenhower High School Homecoming Week activities. You should have received a spirit week schedule on Saturday with each day's theme. Friday evening, Eisenhower High School will have their homecoming parade followed by their home football game. Let's show our Rocket support for our Eisenhower Eagles!
Picture Day Will be Wednesday, September 28. You should have received a picture order form from your child's backpack late last week, or today!

Volunteer Background Checks (2nd post): The official word from the UCS Human Resource department is that parents will need to complete a YEARLY background check. Forms will be sent home with your child or you can print from the attachment below. If you were approved with a new application in the past year, that will carry forward until a new background check can be completed.
Background checks are needed for:
field trips
volunteering at school in classrooms
volunteering for field day, color run, etc.
helping in the lunchroom (unpaid)
UCS takes about 2 weeks to process background checks.
Lunch Monitors: We can always use more hands/eyes during the lunch time! Morgan continues to search for EduStaff lunch monitors. You can complete the application below. EduStaff is also the location to become a substitute teacher for Morgan and a substitute paraprofessional for Morgan. We would love to have you join our team!

PTO Meeting--Next meeting is Tuesday, Oct. 18
It was wonderful to see new faces and have new volunteers to help with all the wonderful things PTO provides for our Morgan students!
